In a wide-eyed marathon of editing I was able to complete the 2nd draft of editing thankfully. Came in at 90 minutes on the DOT (minus credits, which I don't have yet).

The movie is now in a watchable state. All it's missing are transitions, color correction, a score, and any semblance of good sound effects. I think I'm gonna watch it all tonight and start the color correcting tomorrow. Color correcting is one of the most daunting, laborous jobs with the least amount of noticable productivity. Still, for some reason I love it and it excites me.

Longest scene: Climactic battle between Kitsy and Jack.
Shortest scene: Jack puts up a 'wanted: job' poster.
Best scene: Tie between climactic battle and scene 24 (park scene with Jack, Kitsy and Kate that we shot a remarkable third time. Third time really was the charm!). Those were also the scenes I was hoping would be the best.
Funniest scene: Probably the professor going Nazi, but there's competition with the Weegee extortion scene and the afformentioned scene 24. Also Kitsy is great in the psychologist scene, that one's actually up there.
Worst scene: Jack and Kitsy right before the big presentation. "You're presentation is due today Jack". I break the 180 degree rule which is embarrasing, and there's a joke in there that somehow lasted past the first draft of the script that NOBODY will get. But there's some good energy and it's a short scene, it doesn't stick out as being particularly bad.
