Color correcting is one of the most time-consuming and rewarding aspects of post production. The goal is to give your film a look and make the colors consistent. My goal was to saturate and balance the colors, and assign specific scenes specific looks. Here are a couple examples of color correction on Entertaining Angels:

The top screen is before color correction. Much more orange, darker and more saturated than the rest of the scene. The bottom screen is the final color corrected image.

I love the look of this shot. Here, I desaturated the highlights, saturated the colors, contrasted and balanced the look.
