Discuss the significant domestic policy speeches of Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush, and Clinton (e.g., with regard to education, civil rights, economic policy, environmental policy).
Truman and Eisenhower
  - Truman's speeches were based on helping other countries in order for containment of communism.  i.e. Truman Doctrine
  - Eisenhower's speeches compared communism to a row of domino's, and if one country falls to communism, the rest will too.
      - This is a reference to Vietnam and the Middle East.
  - Kennedy was involved in the Berlin Crisis
      - His speeches raised support for peace.
  - Clinton wanted to create more American jobs by lowering the differences in cost production between America and Mexico under NAFTA.
  - Bush campaigned no new taxes, but did not fulfill that campaign.
