I thought I would give you a little good news. :-)
As the first step toward my buying Zeke from you (!), this Friday I'm
having my farrier and my vet join together to give him a thorough
pre-purchase exam. They're pulling his shoes, taking x-rays . . . the
whole nine yards. This will be costly for me, but if I'm going to bite the
bullet for the big sweetheart, I need to be sure he's going to last a
while. :-) I will keep you informed as we proceed . . .
You'll be pleased to know that Zeke is already turning much more
black, and losing his sunburned-ness. Fred was the first to notice it - a
good sign that he spends time looking at The Black!
