"That's a huge baby!" then he cried. How Did Mommy Feel Afterwards? well, let's see. I was in labor for 18 hours and the epadural worked for the first maybe 5 hours then it started to ware off. They tried giving me more but it just didn't work. I tried to tell everyone that I could still feel pain, but the doctors wouldn't believe me. Then I wouldn't dialate any more then 6cm. after about 3 hours of staying at 6cm. they finally said they should do an emergency c-section because my cervix was swollen. SO!, they get me prepped for the c-section and I kept telling them that I could still feel pain and stinging. They gave me a shot that numbed me before I went into the O.R., they cut me and after they cut me everything wore off and I could feel everything that they were doing to me. Needless to say it was the most painful and horrifying experience of my life and I will never go to that hospital again. But on the other hand I have a beautiful baby girl that I love very much. |
