An early morning and Kylie was off to the airport! There we boarded a MD81 (for Grandpa, who always loves to know about planes) and headed off to the island. It was sunny and HOT when Kylie arrived and saw her Mom's friend Shira-chan. She had fun running around the table at the place we had "Kei-han" (rice, shredded chicken, eggs, and a bunch of other stuff in a bowl, with a wonderful chicken and mushroom broth poured over it) for lunch. Man, that was good. Kylie ate almost as much as the adults. After, we went to a small hotel in Naze city, and had a relaxing evening. |
