At church today, Kylie was very good downstairs, but after she was taken up to the Sunday School, she started her latest craze. Pointing to everything and saying "Acchi! Acchi!" (Over there! Over there!) Which is not so bad for the first few minutes, teaching her new words, but kind of drags on after a half an hour of reciting the various McDonald's chacters over and over and over... "Grimace... Mayor McCheese... Yep, that's Ronald... (picking up wildlife picture book) Oh look Kylie, pictures of animals... No? Ok. The Fry Guys... Hamburgler... Mayor McCheese again... But I digress. So anyway, on the way home from church, Kylie bought her mommy some flowers for mother's day.
After we got home, Dai and his parents came by and we went to the "Hitachi Performing Arts Festival." It was ok, not as good as last year because it was raining though. Only the people in the very front could see anything. And Kylie fell asleep in Daddy's arms as Dai stomped in puddles nearby. Kylie's sleepiness was infectious though, because after coming home, Daddy took a four hour nap. |
