It was not the nicest day in the world this morning, but we headed out to pick strawberries! It was a lot of fun, and MAN, did we eat a LOT of berries! After the berries, Tomoki said he was hungry... Wow. So we headed off to a place we could eat, and got stuck in a traffic jam 5 Km long. So we turned around, and took a little tiny road no wider than our car through the mountain passes to the main trunk road. Then we had some lunch. After that, we headed further up the mountains to a petting farm on top of a mountain. But we got side-tracked by a festival. It was great! Soba, candy, mochi, all sorts of goodies for kids and adults alike! Now, even fuller than before, we headed to the farm. Unfortunately, it was not only on top of the mountain, but also inside a cloud. Kylie enjoyed her first thick fog, and got to see a donkey! Wet and cold, we headed back to the city to have sushi and sing Karaoke. Whew! What a busy day for Kylie! |
