This morning, Kylie was in a much better mood. She and I played in the yard for a while, looking at where the slugs have been eating the flowers, and wondering if and when the corn will sprout.
In the early afternoon, Dai came over, and then he and Kylie went to Wakana's house to play. Lucky Dai! Two beautiful girls to play with! There is a saying "Ryo te ni hana." (Flowers in both hands)
Oh yes, the title of the page today. Well, after playing hard all afternoon, Kylie came home and took a nap on the sofa. After a while, slippedy slippedy BOOM! And a grumpy baby was the result. But hey, who enjoys falling off the sofa when you are sleeping? I remember how scary it was when I fell of the top bunk at summer camp one year. It just isn't much fun!
At any rate, she was a bit grumpy after that, she kept pointing at things, saying "Achi! Achi!" (There, there!) But Mayuho couldn't tell  what she was pointing at, and kept showing her things in that general direction, but Kylie just said "No! No!" and threw a tantrum. Finally, a grumpy, sleepy baby got in her car seat and fell asleep on the way to pick me up at work. Poor Mayuho. We are not used to a baby being hard work! Not with Kylie that is.
