| About Jondy: The character that Kyley plays on "Dark Angel" might seem a bit complex if you don't know a lot about the show (read About Dark Angel first). Jondy is a genetically engineered supersoldier, created in a covert genetics lab called Manticore. At the age of nine, she and 12 others escaped from the lab, but she was seperated from them in the panic and also escaped not knowing what happened to her 'brothers and sisters' (this term was used when they referred to their X5 group, they considered themself a big family). During the escape, she was seen climbing the perimeter fence with Max. They were going to get shot down by a soldier, but Zack distracted the soldire, giving Jondy and Max a chance to run for their freedom. However, Max fell through thin ice, forcing Jondy to continue on her own. This is also where her one and only speaking line occurs, which is "Max!" We never see Jondy as an adult, but from what other character's on the show say, we know that we was working down in a bar in San Francisco. She was also able to contact Zack, the protective leader of the X5 group, through a contact phone number he set up shortly after the escape. Her character is known to, along with Max, go by with a reduced amount of sleep. Jondy was thought to be especially close to Max when they were children. Even though she recieved a very short amount of screen time, Jondy is one of the most popular X-5's, mostly because of her close bond to Max and the fact that she is the only connection to Jondy. |

| About Dark Angel: Dark Angel is a science fiction TV show that airs on FOX (produced by Charles Eglee and James Cameron). Set in 2021, when the US is a 3rd world country due to a terrorist attack, It stars Jessica Alba as Max. Max is a gentically engineered supersoldier created in a covert genetics lab called Manticore. The purpose of the lab was to create a perfect soldier for battle. She and approximately 20 other children were housed in the same barracks, and their group was known as the X5 group. Each soldier is marked with a barcode on the back of their neck, for identification and tracking purposes. Their childhood was spent in Manticore. Forced to do vigorous training exercises and embark on missions, the children lived a childhood much like a soldier would. It was full of pain, suffering, and death. But the children, expected to have a soldier's mind only, developed a normal children's mind as well. They developed a strong bond and considered each other family. Zack, the CO of the group, developed strong and protective feelings for the rest of the children and he did everything he could so protect them. But the group of children, triggered by a boy and girl's death, decided that the outside world must be better. They escaped in the winter of 2009, and this is the scene in which Jondy appears. The show had two seasons, and was canceled at the last-minute before it was to have a third. |
