Though I have never seen the movie, from the summary, it seems to me that Kyley is in various scenes in the private school. This is where the senator's daughter is kidnapped from, so Kyley would be around this time in the movie.
A lot of the filming of the movie was done in Vancouver, which would explain how Kyley got the opportunity to be in it.
