About Donna:

After "Slip Dog", the band Jace is trying to bring to fame, performs at a concert in a local school, three girls become obsessed with Jace.  Donna is one of them.

They follow him home and intrude on a rehearsal.  Jace tells them to stop idolizing him, but they won't.  At another performance, they climb onstage, dive into the audience and ruin the show.  The owner of the club threatens not to hire the band again, prompting Jace to berate the girls.  Later he feels bad and tries to apologize to them, but they've already found another band to idolize.
About My Guide to Being a Rock Star:
The show is a remake of "The Young Person's Guide to Being a Rock Star", a wildly popular British comedy series.

One of the characters, Jace, lays out his master plan to dominate the 'rock 'n roll' world in easy-to-follow steps.  Dispite discouragement from his irritated dad, a heavy metal dinosaur of several rock groups, Jace continues dreaming of stardom for himself and his struggling band.  Opportunity strikes, however, when Jace fines renewed Hope in his slightly older employment counselor.

The WB network aired the show for only two weeks before pulling it off due to low ratings.  WB pushed it off to midseason and promoted it as their first ever Super Series.  The promotions also promised it would run for at least six weeks.  Unfortunately, the network failed to live up to their promise and the show never suceeded.
