Part 1/1

Rating: PG-13
Authors Note: This story takes place during the summer after departure. Hope you enjoy.
Summary: Kyle reflects on what Tess has done.
"Do you still see me?" She asked, eyeing the fact that he had been cooped up in her old room for days.
"Of course, I still see you. Youre all that I ever had." He answered.
"Was I? You never told me that."
"You should have known."
*~*~*~*~*
Kyle, still after 3 days, was locked in this room. It was littered with her graffiti like style. A style that only belonged to Tess. The trained alien whom he loved, and had loved ever since the first time he saw her, the first time he kissed her. The first time she called him Buddha Boy.
He didnt blame her (but in a way he did); she had been raised or rather reared by a thorough killer. Maneuvered from place to place, and she had probably seen things that would make any human lose their lust for life. But Tess had that. She had that spark that made him fall in love with her. But what he didnt understand is why she had followed in those same footsteps.
Tess wasnt a killer, she couldnt be. He knew her, Kyle knew her, and she had lived with him for over a year. She couldnt be a killer.
Kyle lifted up a shirt from one of the drawers in the dresser. She left behind all of her clothes; they still smelled like her, even though they will never be worn again.
The room, thats what he couldnt get over. This room, was so much like her. It was hers. The first room that she had ever really had. She told him, months ago, that Nasado never let her have a room, it was always just space, a way to fill the void, but that it never belonged to her.
So how could she, how could she side with a man who never loved her? Nasado didnt love her, he was just using her, and even from his grave he was issuing orders for her to follow through with. Even now he tore her away from him.
*~*~*~*~*
"Have you found it yet?" Kyle asked.
"Found what?"
"Happiness."
