The Origin of The Schizo
I would like to Thank Dr_Abortion for giving me the idea to do this, for after reading his origins on his webpage, I couldnt sleep for thinking about Pesti's beginnings, so THANKS ALOT!! Just kidding.
Now, on with the story, Enjoy...
From Child to Slammer...
Pestilence began his life with the name, Jackson Daniels. He is the son of a musician, Mike Daniels, and a waitress,
Marla Daniels. He is the oldest of their two children, having only one younger brother, Gavin Daniels. Their family was a happy one, for the most part. Jackson, who was three years older than his brother, was a mild mannered child, yet at times he had quite the evil streak. During his younger years, at school, he was a good student, yet never payed enough attention to his work. During his first grade year, he was outside playing and one of the other children shoved him from the top of the slide. Jackson fell to the ground in a heap, hitting his head on the slide during his fall. He has no recollection of this moment, but the child that shoved him turned up with a broken collar bone only moments later. This was the beginning of something that would turn out to help him in the long run.
Pesti's homelife was good, with his father always having parties and things when he was home, and allowing Jackson and Gavin to join the fun. Jackson's mother was rarely home on these night, as she worked to help support the family. Often during these nights, his fathers friends would end up calling him a "pest" and sending him on his way. This began his nickname, Pesti, and for a long time he resented the name.
Pesti's parents never had the greatest relationship, since his father never seemed to pay any attention to his mother, and his mother worked alot to be away from him. It was uncommmon to find all four of them at the dinner table together, and often it would end early because of arguments between their parents. Because of this, Pesti and Gavin had to rely on one another for support. Pesti took care of his brother, and tried his best to take care of their mother during his fathers frequent absences.
One night, Pesti's mother came home from work to find their father in bed with another woman, and though the boys didnt leave their room, they heard the entirity of the argument. That next morning, their father went to the bedroom and told their mom that he was leaving, but didnt want the boys know the reason why. Their mother began throwing things at him, and he barreled out the door.
Outside the bedroom, Pesti and Gavin were looking at one another uneasily, when the door came flying open, hitting Pesti in the forehead. His father never looked down to see about him, and his mother didnt seem to notice since she had locked herself in the small bathroom. Gavin dragged Pesti, as the nickname had stuck, back to their bedroom, and struggled to lift him into the bed. The next morning, their mother failed to wake them for school, and their friend, Kronus, woke them by pounding on the window.
Gavin went to the front door, letting Kronus in, and together they attempted to wake the Pesti. After an hour of coaxing, and being doused with water, Pesti finally woke up, and had no recollection of the previous night. Gavin explained what had happened, and then they went to see about their mother. Kronus and Pesti told Gavin to dress for school, and then went to check on his mom. When the opened the door, Pesti's mother was sprawled on the bed, fully clothed, and a open bottle of scotch had fallen onto the floor at her feet. Kronus and Pesti then placed his mother into the bed correctly, and tried to wake her up. After a few moments, they left the room, quietly closing the door, and proceeded to go to school.
That afternoon when they came home, they found their mother sitting on the phone in the kitchen, crying and cursing to the other person on the line. When she saw them enter the house, she hung up the phone and slowly walked into the living room. She sat them down, and tried to explain to them that their father had left for Chicago, and wasnt coming home. Both the boys where perplexed by the leaving of their fathert.Gavin leapt from the couch, and ran to their bedroom. Pesti soon followed, and went to the closet, where his brother liked to hide when he was sad. Pesti never spoke to him, but took a seat beside him in the closet. After a moment, Pesti explained to Gavin that everything would be ok, and things would work out in the long run. It took a while, but Gavin finally agreed. The two exited their closet hiding place, and tried to resume to a normal schedule around the house, taking up their fathers slack.
Over the years, Jackon had a few incidents where he was injured, mostly head trauma, and would have blacked out scenes in his memory. Multiple times, he would be being picked on by older children, and would be injured, but afterwards the agressors always ended up worse off than Jackson was. He never remembered hurting anyone, but the injured always claimed that he did it. His mother, who never really had time for him, suggested that he go see a doctor for this, before he hurt someone. Jackson never paid her any attention, and over the years his blackouts increased.
A few months after their father left, Gavin was seated at the kitchen table, as Pesti cooked the two some dinner, their mother was at work as usual. The phone rang, and Gavin answered. It was their father. While Pesti cooked, Gavin talked to his father, pleading for him to come home, but to no avail. When Pesti finished cooking, He came over and took the phone from Gav. He told his father that if he didnt want to come home, it was ok. They didnt need him anyway. Pesti hung up the phone, and told Gavin that thing were good now that their father had left, and their mother was alot happier without him.
During the next six months, Gavin had been mowing yards and doing odd jobs around the neighborhood, earning a little money, while Pesti and Kronus were usually in the backyard practicing to become wrestlers. Pesti and Kronus were best friends, and were neigh on insepratable. Day in, Day out, the two would practice their moves, usually on other kids from the block, and sometimes they would let Gavin join them in their play.
One day, about a year after the last call from their father, He called yet again. Gavin answered the phone. THey talked for a while, since Pesti was outside with Kronus, and began to work out a plan. Gavin had been saving money for a while now, and had over three hundred dollars saved up. His father claimed he missed him, and wanted him to come to Chicago to live with him. Knowing Pesti and his mother would never agree, he secretly began planning to run away from home to live with his dad.
Another year passed by, and during that time, Pesti had turned eighteen. Gavin was only fifteen, but was as big and lean as his brother were. Gavin and Pesti were very close, but they had began drifting over the last year. One day, Gavin came home from school to find Pesti packing a suitcase. He entered their shared bedroom, and sat on his bed, watching Pesti pack all his favorite clothes.
Pesti turned to him, and attempted to explain to him that he was leaving, and wouldnt be home for a long time. Gavin was upset, and tried to beg Pesti into staying, but Pesti was adamant. He and Kronus were going to go out into the world and become famous. Gavin to cry, thinking that his brother was abandoning him. Pesti left that night, never telling his mother or brother goodbye.
Two months after Pesti left, Gavin packed up his things and hopped onto a bus for Chicago to live with his father. Pesti's mother was now left alone, and began to live a wild life, that would in the end cause her to lose what little respect her children had for her. It has been years since Pesti has visited his mother, and probably shall be years before he does. Pestilence, as he was known in the indy circuits of wrestling, bounced around for a few years, never making much money, and rarely getting to work with his childhood friend, Kronus. After a few years, and quite a few failed relationships and things, he recieved a phone call from Kronus. He had been in a league called the CGW, and his teammate, Dark_Jedi, had taken a leave. He asked Pesti to join him there, and be in his stable. Pesti of course dropped the ciruit he was wrestling with, and jumped at the chance to work with Kronus, now called Hell_Spawn.
He joined the CGW in September of 1999, and remained there for a month, before he decided he wasn't quite ready for the major leagues. Kronus had recieved a commishioner position a few months before, and there was another opening there for a slammer, a female slammer, who called herself Pestilence, had decided to take leave of the sport, and Pesti, who had been using the name Pestilence in the hometown circuit, jumped at the chance to use his regular name. He called up his cousin in New Orleans, Charlie Daniels, and asked him if he was still looking to become a wrestler. Charlie, who was a barkeep, agreed to take over the mantle of Dark_Jedi for his cousin. Pesti then left the CGW, and headed to the iRWF, where Kronus was commish...
