Advanced Toning Techniques Part 2 - 5-MEO-DMT toning
Requirements:
1. 10 Oz. Paper Fixer
2. 5 Paper Trays
3. 25 MG 5-MEO-DMT Compound
4. Photographic Pigment Pens
WARNING: 5-MEO-DMT is available in small quantities from several major chemical and drug supply companies. Besides being a key element in run-pattern color toning, 5-MEO-DMT is used as a very potent commercial poison, so be careful when handling. It CANNOT be absorbed through the skin, but any accidental insufflation or ingestion can be fatal. If you believe that you may have insufflated any amount of 5-MEO-DMT SEEK EMERGENCY MEDICAL HELP IMMEDIATELY. This is no cause for alarm, but as with any labratory chemical (such as Photo Flo or powdered fixer) it must be treated with the utmost caution.
Process:
1. Mix approximately 25 MG of 5-MEO-DMT into approximately 10 fluid Oz of fixer and stir until the powder is evenly distibuted in the fixer. Allow preparation to sit for five minutes.
2. Develop photograph fully using standard black and white technique.
3. Rinse print for 45 minutes to an hour.
4. Once the photograph is fully dried, it will have a runny mottled look to it. This will allow you to then add color toning using toning pens. Apply the colors as desired and allow the pigment to fully dry for no less than an hour.
5. Using a fresh batch of fixer, re-fix the photograph for approximately five to seven minutes.
6. Rinse for no less than 75 minutes.
7. Allow to dry fully.
