I'm still getting used to the 3.5 ruleset as I experience it in computer games. We've not really had a chance to use it much at home.
Circle Mud
I have been working on a Mud on and off for a
year or two. The mud is not on-line because we do not have a high speed internet
option where I live. I've been basing the mud, roughly, on 3rd edition
D&D. I've decided to go with an alternate magic system where spells
are formed using magic words and the result of the casting depends on the
magic words used and the order. The amount of magic a person can use is
based on spell point. Each magic word has a number of spell points associated
with it. The combination of powerful words together can cost more points than
would be required to cast the two less powerful spells serially.
