Unfinished Works, Page Four
Another hearty thanks to Grey and Thunderpaw--both of you sent several updates, and I wanted very much to display them.

Thanks again for being so wonderful!  *kissies* from your vixen (or wolf, or dragon, or whatever my mood takes me :) ).
I have a number of these updates from Grey, and wanted to put two more up for everyone to see. At some point, when the final product is finished, I will create a page devoted to it, with all the steps and updates in chronological order.

Until then, please enjoy these two updates (and any others I post in the interim). Grey has completely colored my whole body and started shading, adding my hair and coloration for the chrome poles.

The most recent update for my black wolf painting from Grey. This is REALLY turning out great! I am terribly excited to see the final version, and I really appreciate Grey letting me post the unfinished works--I think that is really important as inspiration and reference for any artist willing to take the time to look.

My ruby is back (yeah!!) and my hair has changed slightly. If you look closely, you will notice that I have fur now instead of sleek blackness over my right breast, arm, and side. Grey's technique is absolutely stunning, and I cannot wait for the next update!

Thanks, Grey honey! :)

Three new updates from my friend Thunderpaw. All three are really great, and once again, I want to make sure that artists out there understand that we appreciate your efforts regardless of your skill level. If you look at this image and the one immediately preceding it, it is obvious that two different levels of experience are at work. There is NO less heart behind Thunder's drawing, though, and I know that Grey would say the same thing--artists should be encouraged to draw as much as they can, as often as they can.

Thunder, keep it up! :)

The second image from Thunder. I really do think his art has shown improvement, even through the updates he has sent me.

Thunder has asked for critique, and I will provide a short one; Thunder, you are doing a wonderful job, but make sure you don't get stuck in a rut with one pose. Do NOT be afraid to make mistakes--do not ever worry about if your art is 'good' or not. Experiment with different poses, different techniques, and different subject matter until you find a scheme that fits your style. Cultivate your gift, because the only way you get better is through practice, and by practicing, you WILL get better.

Hope that helps! :)

The third recent file from Thunder, and my favorite of his series. The perspective is quite good, and the coloration is very accurate. I do believe Thunder shows promise, and as long as he continues to seek to improve his skills, I know he will do great! :)

Thank you again, Thunder--keep up the good work, and don't give up on yourself. Draw because you want to, not because you have to. Draw because it gives you pleasure and gives your subject pleasure (and I will say that I am most grateful for your beautiful images!!).

Another Black Wolf update, because I have not done so in a while, and want to show my friend Grey how very much I appreciate his wonderful art.

As I mentioned earlier, I will have a page devoted to this piece, because I have a number of 'in-process' snapshots of how it has progressed. I hope it will serve as a reference and guide. Make sure you visit Grey's link on my
Artist's links page!
