First of all let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Justin Wesley and I was born on February 15, 1996 only 9 months and 1 week after my big brother Kyle was born. I was born two months premature and made quite the entrance. After I was born I had to be flown to a Special Care Nursery where they could help me learn to breath on my own and eat. I am now 6 years old and am getting ready to finish Kindergarten. YAHOO! I like doing all sorts of thing's that typical kids my age do.. I also think that it is quite a lot of fun to drive my mom nuts. She always tells me that it is a good thing that I am cute. I am getting to the age now that I am finding dealing with life thing's very difficult. Thing's have always been hard as I have trouble controlling my anger and doing other thing's that I shouldn't. I have been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, you can learn more about this by following the links below. I have a support work that I really adore that takes me out 10 hours week and is helping me to learn how to play and socialize.

32 weeks of gestation. 4lbs 15oz.
I was a big boy for my gestational age.

This is a picture of my Uncle Wes giving me my first stuffed animal. Uncle Wes lives where the hospital that I was flown to was so he was able to come and see me and spend time with me before my mom and dad could come. The nurses told mommy that whenever he would come see me and touch me my vital signs would improve. Good thing he was there for me. Thank you Uncle Wes :-)

The picture at the right is when the ventalator was finally removed and I could breath on my own with only extra oxygen in the incubator. If you look closely you will be able to see that they use a doctors mask as a diaper because even a newborn size diaper was WAY too big.

Going home at 3 weeks of age. Pretty amazing because originally they said I would be over 2 months before I could go home.

My first smile. That is my daddy holding me. Mum and dad waited a long 3 months to see me smile for the first time. Mommy cried.

This is me when I turned 1 yr. I got this tunnel for my birthday. I was in the hospital at the time for 13 days as I had pneumonia and really bad asthma.
