Very sad story. Inspirational for all of us. Very short, though. Will read the others.

When Will This Cruel War Be Over
Diary of Emma Simpson

Another wonderful book from the Dear America series. Very impressive. I could almost relate to Emma - especially about Jane Eyre. Highly recommend!

One Eye Laughing, The Other Weeping
Diary of Julie Weiss

Another excellent diary, but not my favorite. Julie seemed too silly at times. REALLY tragic though..

House of Leaves
Mark Z. Danielewski

What a trying, complicated novel. Intriguing plot, but not worth the effort put in to trying to decipher the 700+ pages!

Jewels of the Sun
Nora Roberts

What a wonderful, wonderful book! It swept me away with its magical imagery. I must see Ireland. Yay Nora Roberts!

Kiss the Girls
James Patterson

This one was a re-read that was even better the second time around. It made more sense, etc. etc. Very suspenseful & loaded with plot twists. Setting up a fall guy - what brilliance!
