My 1st book of the New Year was a pretty good one. Tragic, but really well-written. Krakauer sometimes goes off on superfluous tangents, but other than that he is an excellent storyteller. It's so terrible that this is a true story - a sadder one there never was. Or something.

Not the type of book that I would normally read but still very good. Kept me in suspense - a real page turner. I give it four stars of 5 possible. :)

The Rescue Nicholas Sparks
Pretty good book. A bit on the cheesy side - predictable, too. Not as bad as A Walk to Remember, but definitely not as good as The Notebook. 3 stars out of 5.

Amazing collection of short stories. A few lame ones, but overall this is a hell of a good book!! King is God. 5 stars.
