| Run Etiquette | ||||||
| This is a list of things we felt it was important to everyone to know before running and before leading runs. Please read over these guidelines and try to remember them. | ||||||
| 1. When running, always listen to the run leader. Run leaders are responsible for everyone on the run and ensuring that you don't lose your EQ or corpse-rot if you die. If you don't listen to them it makes their job very difficult. 2. Stay with the run leader at ALL times unless otherwise directed. Some areas are filled with DT's waiting to devour you and your EQ. 3. Run leader loots unless otherwise directed. 4. The guild gets loot from guild runs. Generally the loot from the first kill goes to the guild. 5. If you go on a run plan to stay for the entire run. 6. If you are leading a run do not give out loot until the end, otherwise some people will come for one kill, get loot, and leave, making it impossible to finish the run. 7. Plan to do enough kills for everyone running to get loot plus loot for the guild. (So if four people are running, you are doing five kills.) 8. If you die... CALM DOWN. It is not the end of the world. Get healed, get spells, and get back in time to loot and help finish the kill. (In some cases it will not be possible for you to get back alone, in those cases contact the run leader.) 9. If you are leading a run and someone dies, you are responsible for making sure they get their EQ back. (Even if it means getting an immortal CR.) 10. Before you run be sure you have everything that is required for that run and enough of it to last the duration of the run. 11. It is helpful to have a container specifically for potions. We recommend having at least 100 heals for any run and instead of buying tanksets from Orestes, get the potions you need from the coffer to prevent having extraneous potions. (Though it is nice to have at least one full tankset.) 12. Before you lead a run be sure you know everything that is required for it. |
