There was a girl who longed for the future yet feared it. Her eyes held the secrets of her true intentions. Her hair shown hints of auburn here and there; it seemed to change hue every instant (much like her indecisive heart). She was considered pretty by most, even beautiful by a select few, but she shrugged off most comments as mere opinions. Though she considered herself nothing remarkable, she was fairly certain that she had touched a couple lives. She always wore a smile whether the result of happiness or concealment. She was content near people she knew--"friends." This girl seemed ordinary--a fragment of her actually was. She was extremely introspective and hated that about herself. She wished she could have been simple-minded and happy. There were many diverse pieces that made her whole. She longed to find her "soul mate" simply because her greatest fear was being alone. However, she didn't want to feel as though she was dependent upon anyone. Independence was something she thought was necessary in life. Although hating change, a part of her wanted to break free from all familiar surroundings and enter into the "real world" alone. She was an indecisive teenager with an infinite number of hopes and dreams for herself as well as the rest of the world..."Idealistic" they called her. She yearned to see the world and at the same time wanted nothing to do with this life. She wanted adventure as well as the security of home. She wasn't sure who or what would remain in her future; she feared yet anticipated it. That is why she wrote this.
