| I may seem idealistic to most and probably you Optimistic or unrealistic like I haven't got a clue But Jesus knows my heart my thoughts my dreams my fears And when you turn away you can't see my tears But Jesus sees my face And maybe I care more about you than you do about me But Jesus doesn't ignore my plea my hope my prayer Trying to love through rejection Because Jesus said to care And sometimes I'm alone and no one's here to hear But Jesus understands He says there is no fear And you may criticize the way I praise and sing If it's not what you'd expect But Jesus said He's king And you may think I'm simple Or that's what you imply Just remember no one's perfect But Jesus said to try So when you talk about me Be sure that you discuss That I don't care about what anyone thinks anyone But Jesus 11.1.04 |
