Yrallok

The short fellow standing in front of you almost appears to be lost
within his own robes. Standing at just over two and a half feet
tall, the being's comical appearance makes it nearly impossible for
others to regard him with any seriousness. At a glance, it seems
quite likely that the robe itself would be spacious enough to ac-
commodate a wearer of nearly twice his height. Binding the mass
of red cloth to his small frame is a thin length of rope, which,
being rather excessive in length, is wound about his waist three
times, the ends secured together in a large, bulging knot. Tightly
crammed all around this 'belt' of sorts are an innumerable number
of variously-sized brown cloth pouches, held shut by a wispy rain-
bow of different colored ribbons. Also looped through his belt is
a leather cord of the sort folk use to control animals, a leash.
On the other end of this leash, bouncing about beside him in the
dust, is a thick, leather-bound book, fastened shut by a piece of
twine. Scribed upon the cover of the book is a simple, yet suf-
ficient one word title, 'MAGIC'. He grasps the leash at it's cen-
ter, above the place where it is tied to his belt, in a hand that
is hidden from view by one of the two voluminous sleeves flapping
at his sides. Out from the darkness of the hood can only be dist-
inguished two pale, luminescent green eyes, shining with an intelli-
gence often masked by overpowering curiosity.
