Again, we would like to express our sincere graditute
for your membership in the Kentucky Disabilities Coalition (KDC). We hope we
have kept you informed of the advocacy activities of KDC and other
disability-related organizations though our Website, advocacy activities, and
the KYActionAlert Network. KDC plans to improve its services to you, and to do
so, needs your continued support.
Over many years, KDC has gained the reputation as one of the leading non-profit organizations in disability advocacy within the Commonwealth. As a statewide alliance of cross-disability consumer, family, and professional groups, unified by its historic commitment to grassroots support for issues that can improve the lives of Kentuckians with disabilities, KDC is implementing plans to improve its ability to enhance your voice within the disability community to the State Legislature and policy makers. KDC will help advance your policy issues, broaden your base of supporters and increase its rapid response advocacy network for ALL disabilities and ALL ages.
KDC is continuing on a course to improve its capacity to provide networking services to and among individuals and organizations. The resulting infrastructure will help individuals and organizations with different priorities build awareness of their causes as well as find solidarity and support from others - where the UNITED whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts. Our first goal is a membership drive that will double the size of the KDC membership. The Kentucky Disability Coalition Executive Committee is energized to revitalize!
Membership runs from July 1st through June 30th each year. If your or your organization's membership has expired or if you would like to join KDC, please take a moment to join in the excitement and complete the application and return it with your tax deductible payment at your earliest convenience.
