Rules: The Pass

The Pass - A player may choose not to shoot the playing ball by "passing" his turn to the next player. The player needs only to indicate that he/she wants to "pass" to the referee by saying "I pass" or, using the appropriate color, "the color" passes, for example, "red passes". It is then the next player's turn.

A player may pass:

• prior to a direct shot.
• after a roquet, but only after placing the playing ball against the object ball - the normal deadness is incurred!
