Rules: Posting Out
Posting Out - Completing the Game - The way that a team finishes a game is called "posting out". Posting out can only be done after both of a team's balls are both rover. The steps involved are:
- One of the two partner rover balls must roquet the other.
- The shooter must then either croquet both balls into the near post on one shot, or croquet (or tight-ball) the object ball into the near post on the first shot and then hit the near post with the playing ball on the second shot.
- All four balls must stay in bounds until movement stops for the posting out to count.
Rover balls cannot be posted out singlely, only as a pair. Also, it is not posting out to drive both balls into the near post on a roquet shot.
A player may not post out either of the opposing team's balls.
