The Wickets - All wickets on a particular court should be the same size and shape. In general, the wicket is shaped like an arch, with two parallel sides running perpendicular to the ground and connected at the top by a semicircle. The current standard diameter is six inches wide (inside the wicket). The heighth of each wicket, measuring from the ground to the bottom part of the semicircle, is approximately the same as the width of the wicket.
The wickets should be driven into the ground deeply enough to prevent any movement
of the wicket when struck by a moving ball. Wickets can be made from any metal,
and are currently one half inch thick.

At present, a basket is not usually used.
