My Family In Burma

            My home town is Chauk located at the middle of Burma,about half an hour drive away from Ancient City of Bagan. Chauk was known as City of Oil Field Sweat due to the very huge oil fields.When I was in Primary School,we play with the swinging arm of oil wells very near to my school.

         My father,U Aung Khin was a clerk from Labour office of POI(People Oil Industry) at that time and retired in 1990.He is now living in Chauk together with my Brother’s family.

          My mother,Daw Kyin Than  was a housewife & passed away in 1972 at the age of 31 due to the mishandling of a fresh graduate physician. She love me most because I look like the same as her & was treated as youngest before younger sister was born.I have one elder brother one year senior & one younger sister five years jumior.

         My brother,Khin Zaw was married with his classmate,Khin Htay & have two kids(one son,Pho Thu & one daughter,Wai).They are looking after my father since I am in Singapore & my sister is studying in Mandalay.But my brother is working in Bridge Construction (Government Service) & his work is shifting one place to another.He gained A Diploma in Civil Engg from Chauk Government Technical Institute in 1980.

      My Sister,Khin Than Aye is now studying for Master in O.G in Mandalay & still Single.She graduated in 1992 from Institute of Medicine Mandalay.Before this master course,she stayed with my father & got the chance to look after my father.
