| November 19, 2002 Discussions: President Larry Brumett asked members to turnout with families for the December Potluck. Attendance at "eating meetings" has fallen off in recent years, he would really like to see more people at these functions. Jim Erskine, KD4GNN, moved that MCARC buy a meat platter for the Christmas Potluck. That motion was seconded and passed. Jim will look into buying the platter. Tom Buchanan will step down as Editor of the Club newsletter, The Smokehouse as of December 31. The paper will die if there is no interest. President Larry appointed a Committee of Two to select Club Offiers Candidates for 2003. Election is at the December meeting. If you would like to serve or if you wish to nominate someone please contact either Lester Daniel` KC4OHV or Wendell Kennison, AD4EI. MCARC Annual dues are now payable for 2003. |
