Basic Personal Info

Kendra I am from the small Northeastern New York TOWN OF LEWIS. Where I lived since I was two months old until I graduated from ELIZABETHTOWN-LEWIS CENTRAL SCHOOL in Elizabethtown NY. I doubt many people that see this page will have graduated from a smaller class. No matter how small your high school was, ask yourself if it really was so small. I graduated with 27 other students. After graduation and a summer of working and travel I moved to RUSSELL SAGE COLLEGE in Troy NY. On the majority, I enjoy college. "Life is what you make of it" In the past I enjoyed drawing, downhill skiing, soccer, scorekeeping, writing... all of which basically I still love to do. Now that I'm older I've also realized the value of travel, parties, clubs, friends and good food like I never could have imagined before having added the H.O.T. club (History on Tour), Spanish Culture & house, RaLLy, Ski Club and more to my list!

If you're wondering what my friends or living places look like then I'm going to direct you to my PHOTO ALBULMS PAGE, there's pictures of me mixed in among my friends & family.

I am a Secondary Education/ Spanish major who was studying abroad FA/01 semester through Russell Sage College. It's not all fun and games.
While in Sevilla Spain I was a full time student taking 15 hour credits through the Center for Cross-Cultural Studies (CC-CS). I was not speaking English to the host family, teachers, people I met in the city or most other students in the four months that I was there.
YES. FOUR MONTHS in SPAIN taking college courses, speaking ONLY SPANISH.
WELL worth the time, heartache and effort. People I met in my time there will forever be a part of me, and for the most part, that is a precious gift.

More recently, FA/02 semester I was student teaching. Not easy, but I haven't felt like I am completely in the wrong field, so that's always a positive hint.
Currently I am living off-campus only blocks away from the college with a very patient and responsible roommate, my cat Binx, and a fish named Princess. (At the time princess was the only name I could think of!) I will be recieving my undergraduate degree in May and then... a new transitional period begins! But at least I'll "get that piece of paper that says you're smart."
