Kwoon:
Martial arts school
Guan Do:
(A.K.A. Guan Dao and Kwan Do) It is a weapon based on that of General Guanyu (A.K.A. Guandi and Guan Gung). Called the general's lance, it is big, heavy and sharp at one end and small and pointy at the other end.
Kung Fu:
(A.K.A. Gung Fu & Gong Fu) Chinese martial art developed by Shaolin priests.
Shaolin:
An order of Buddhist monks who practice martial arts.
Buddhism:
An ancient belief founded by a prince named Siddhartha who became Buddha
Buddha:
The guy depicted in those statues of a happy fat guy. It's good luck to rub his belly.
Curly Howard:
Most people's favorite stooge. Born Oct. 22, 1903, Jerome Lester Horwitz was called babe growing up by his family. His family included older brother Moe and oldest brother Shemp. He joined the family act after Shemp retired. He shaved his head and got the nick name "Curly". He was forced to retire from stoogedom after a stroke and was replaced by Shemp. He died January 18, 1952 of another stroke. It was good luck to rub his belly.
