| This page is home of my Fan fiction reccomendations. These are only my opinion so if you don't like them it aint my fault. None of these fics are currently linked, but I have noted the site that hosts them so you can find these wonderful fics... |
| What I like and don't like or Warnings for the uninitiated I like slash. This means men on men. Leave now if you don't like it. I don't like mpreg (male pregnancy), hence, I don't read it. I don't like OOC (out of character) fics. Unless they are humour or there's a good reason why they're OOC (read: unless they are drunk/drugged up/gone insane etc.). I don't like AU (alternate universe) fics. Unless they are humorous. The more observant of you will have noticed I like humour fics. I am not the worlds biggest long fic fan, but I have been known to read them on those long boring days at work with nothing to do but read fanfic. I also don't particularly like introspective fics. This is my biggest problem with Yami no Matsuei fanfiction as a lot of it is (understandably) focused on angstyness and secret lustings (not that there is anything wrong with such lustings). |

| Antidisastablishmentarianism by Wolfpilot06 on Phantom Moon (Humour. Not particulalry slashy. Pretty clean) This funny funny parody of all that we love about Yami made me laugh so much, and almost had something resembling a plot, so I think it must be my current number one fic just because it's so insane. Summers Day by Brigdh on Phantom Moon (Hisoka/Tsuzuki. Pretty Hard core) Billeted as "existentialist porn" this short smutty tale has a plot as thin as a Mills and Boon novel, but is succesful because it doesn't overdo the angst, and has great sex. Hoorah! Tatsumi x Gatepost by Penny Paperbrain on KatCom (Yes, just as the title says, it's a Tatsumi x Gatepost pairing. Bondage. Splinters. I HOPE this is humour!) The most unusual Yami fic i've ever read. Extroadinarily funny. Must be read to be believed. The Adventures of Captain Oblivious and Standoffish Boy by Asidian on Phantom Moon (Humour. Not slashy. Almost squeeky clean) It's AU, but it's a parody really. Short and funny. Clean Kill by Hth on Phantom Moon (Extreme violence. Suggesgions of Tsuzuki/Hisoka. Angsty. Pretty sick) Hisoka's thoughts after being slashed to pieces by Tsuzuki (as Demon) during The Devil's Trill plotline. Disturbing but unusual and quite interesting. Yami no Chat Room by Supreme Overlord Erin on KatCom (Humour. Every pairing imaginable) The Summons Section gets a chat room. Madness ensues. Notable for it's overuse of the word "bitch" and the Kanoe x Gushoshin twins pairing (or should I say tripling). As such, those against chicken sex might be best advised to avoid.. Extremely funny. Lifeblood by Neekerbreeker on Phantom Moon (Long story. Incomplete. Tsuzuki/Hisoka) This as yet incomplete tale stands right now at 10 chapters. A really interesting and well developed story, some nice angsting, and, eventually, some Tsuzuki/Hisoka love make this a really good story to read when you've got a couple of free hours. Not hardcore (as yet). Affinity by BuddahFrog and MorningStar on KatCom (Tsuzuki/Hisoka and some Tatsumi/Watari. Hard core.) It begins with Tsuzuki being angsty about his birthday. It ends with Tsuzuki and Hisoka getting it on. This is actually a really nice story. I like the characterisation and the Tatsumi/Watari bits are really funny! Dance Partners by Lady Jade on KatCom (Tsuzuki/Hisoka. Hard core.) With the aid of Tatsumi, Tsuzuki and Watari get Hisoka out to a club. Sex follows. Minimal but effective plotline, some nice angsting and long Hisoka/Tsuzuki scenes. This is one of the best written fics I think I've ever come across. It is very vivid and doesn't hurry along those scenes we don't want hurried along. Really good characterisation and some great humerous moments too! If nothing else, it must be read just for getting Hisoka into a thong! Various fics at Bacon Wafer This whole site is pretty funny actally, though I do not approve of her assertion that "this manga is so idiotic". What are you talking about? It's terribly deep and moving and...oh well, maybe not. |

| An extremely difficult premise to explain. But here's a stab at it which I wrote for a friend. So, it's about a bloke who's dead and works bringing lost souls to the land of the dead. He had a partner who died at 16 and is very moody. He's also empathic. I think he's moody because he was murdered. The main character bloke is angsty too because he's half demon or something, And in the end he killed himself. Anyway, now he's obsessed with cakes and is ultra-nice. But there's this mad evil doctor bloke (he's the one that killed the 16 year old partner) who's after the blokes body (in BOTH senses of the word) and so takes to driving him mad. It works. The bloke goes mad. But, just as he's about to send himself to hell, his lovely 16 year old partner saves him. |
| I didn't quite know where to write this yet, seeing as I havn't found much X slash I like, but whilst I was on a wandering a looking for some straight Subaru/Kamui slash (when I mean straight I do, of course, mean ONLY Subaru/Kamui. Has anyone else noticed that X slash tend to be multi-partner bonking fests? Anyway, so there I was, searching, my eyes weary and my hopes failing when I came across something quite amusing. And, yes, it WASN'T what I was looking for, but I laughed. Now, you all know I hate long fics, so when one such fic offers you "30 second Summaries" of a 26 chapter fic, you take it. And it was funny as hell. No idea if the fic itself is funny. But I don't much care... You know you want it, so here it is (Humour. Multiple pairings. Violence.
