Read the text first to grasp the main idea of each chapter / to understand the logic flows ; don't waste time on minor points
Memorize the main points ( you should be able to list all the main points of each chapter )
Go through the checklist to ensure all important points are covered ( you should be able to state the relevant concepts without referring to textbook / notes )
Do exercises ( MC for clarification of concepts , section B : learn how to fetch all relevant points ) : an important step for consolidation
Economics is one of science subjects. You should adopt a different study method. Besides memorization, you have to do revision as many as possible.
Most of the concepts are closely related : ambiguity of one part of concept may make you fail to understand the other parts. Do revision after each lecture to ensure that you are clear to all points, otherwise, you will not be able to understand what I teach in the next lecture. And finally you may fail to understand all the lectures afterwards and you will get a fail
Mark down what you do not understand and come and ask me. You have paid the school fee and you have the right to force me to give you private tutorials
You are strongly advised to do each of past examination questions at least twice. You have to make sure that you can explain and reproduce the answers. The questions are very important and are useful.
Mark down the difficult questions and take them as parts of notes. Revision exercises are in fact not exercises, they are supplementary notes.
