Prologue
In the story, slavery is a very common practice only not with humans. The slaves are now animals, to be more specific, Anthropomorphs. For those who don�t know, Anthropomorphs are animals and things given human form or characteristics. Humans control the world and anthros come last and are used as slaves. The story begins with Renard, a fifteen year old anthro fox born into slavery. He wishes for nothing more then to see animals treated with respect like humans. But what could he possibly do to help?
The setting is very unique for this story. Clubs, swords, bows and arrows, and spears are the primary weapons of this age. But oddly enough was that they had learned a little of electricity. I wanted to make it a little bit more interesting.
Anthros are used all over the place yet they are never really recognized as anthros. Advertisements use them very often. Some famous anthros in ads would be the Frosted Flakes Tony the Tiger and the Cheerios Honey Bee. They�ve been used in cartoons as well. Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, and most of Disney�s famous characters. In fact, Disney�s Robin Hood fox and a few other characters I�ve seen inspired the creation of Renard.
I wrote this because I love to write, because I�m fascinated with anthros, and finally because I wanted to do something I could be proud of. This is also my first story that I thought up completely because all of my other writings were fan fictions.
