Chapter List
Like what? Damien asked, wanting to get the full meaning of Terrances question.
Simply like him. Hes a wimp and hes insulting. What he did for you yesterday was the bravest thing that fox has ever done in his life. Damien narrowed his eyes slightly.
Why do you hate him so much? Why must you treat him so badly? Terrance smirked and set down a vase he was dusting.
Because hes smaller and weaker then I. So, I can do whatever I feel like to him. Damien let out a low growl.
You cant treat people like that just because theyre smaller. He said to the wolf.
Is that so? Terrance replied. Damien stepped up to him.
Yes, thats so.
Well, Im bigger then you which means I can prove my point now. Terrance shoved Damien harshly backwards. Damien stumbled and fell against a wall. He bared his panther fangs and jumped up at Terrance, knocking him to the ground. Terrance struggled to get the cat off of him and kicked him backwards. They both got up and Terrance swung at Damien. He ducked the punch and ran his shoulder right into Terrances stomach and tackled him backwards. They both ended up crashing through a window and out onto the grass outside.

My ears perked up as I heard a loud thump nearby. I looked over to my right and saw Damien and Terrance fighting. I quickly got up and ran towards them. Jewell stood up and stepped over slowly, not wanting to get too close to the mass of teeth, fur, and claws rolling around on the ground. I grabbed Damien and pushed him back away from Terrance. I should have grabbed Terrance first. In the confusion of the fight Terrance wasnt paying much attention to whom he was hitting and I got a fist right in the jaw. I stumbled backwards and fell over my tail onto the ground. Damien got back up and jumped back on Terrance with a new wave of anger in him. I got up and wiped some blood off of my lip with the back of my hand and this time I grabbed for Terrance. Since Damien already had him on the ground it made things easier for me. I placed my knee down on Terrances chest to hold him down and grabbed Damien by his shoulders and held him back.
Stop! Calm down Damien! I yelled at him to try and stop him from struggling. Terrance kicked at him and tried to push me off but I pressed down firmly on his chest with my knee.
The yelling unfortunately didnt go unheard. Three guards who had been patrolling on the other side of the house heard the commotion and ran around to see what was going on. They spotted the three of us and ran over as fast as they could, clubs out and in the air above their heads.
