Kid Pix Studio Deluxe
Double click on
Kid Pix Studio Deluxe
It might prompt
you to change your color display to 256 colors
If
so: Double click on My Computer
Double click on Control Panel
Double click on Display
Click the Settings tab
Change the Color to 256
colors
Click Apply
Click OK
To create a
picture:
Click Kid Pix
The tool palette
is on the left hand side of the screen:
Pencil: draw free-form lines
Line:
draw straight lines
Rectangle: draw rectangles
Oval:
draw ovals and circles
Paintbrush: paint
Paint Can: fill in
Mixer:
transform your drawing
Eraser: erase
Letter A: Stamp letters
Typewriter: add text
Stamper: add stamps
Van:
move objects
Dropper: select a color
Man:
undo
Choose different
colors from the color palette below the tool palette
Choose different
styles for each tool from the bar at the bottom of the screen
To change stamp
sets: Click Goodies in the top menu bar
and select Pick Stamp Set
To change
voices: Click Speech in the top menu bar
and select Pick a Voice
When you finish
your picture, you need to save it
Click File in the
top menu bar and select Save a Picture
Name your file and
click OK
To open this file
later, click File in the top menu bar and select Open a Picture
Click on the name
of the file you want to open and click OK
To place a picture
in a slideshow:
Click Slideshow
Click the 1st
button under the white box in slide number 1
Click on the name
of the file
Click OK
You should now see
your picture inside the van
To add a sound to
the slide, click the 2nd button with the music note
Click on a
picture, preview the sound, and select the one you would like to use
To add a
transition to the slide, click the 3rd button with the box and arrow
Click on a
transition, preview the transition, and select the one you would like to use
Adjust the time of
the slide by clicking, holding, and dragging on the black & yellow bar
The buttons at the
bottom of your screen:
Man:
Undo
Dynamite: Erase slide
Arrow:
Play slideshow once
Box with arrow: Play slideshow looped
To set up your
slide show, click Goodies in the top menu bar
This will give you
different options for how you want your slide show to run
(play once, play
looped, etc.)
When you finish
your slide show, you need to save it.
Click File in the
top menu bar and Select Save a Slideshow
Name your file and
click OK

Click the Wacky TV window
Choose the “d” drive
Double click a folder to see the
movies inside
Select a movie by clicking on the
title
Click Open
