A cheerleader's season begins in April with tryouts. The goal is to end it at Nationals in February. Hours of fun and hard work make the time in between. Bartlett's Varsity squad qualified for Nationals. Although they did not advance to the Final round of competition, that in no way lessens their achievements for the year. Each team member achieved personal accomplishments over the year and overcame obstacles. They came together as a team, greater than the sum of their parts. For the underclassmen the incentive is there to return to Orlando next year. For every team member are the memories of 2000-2001 when they had the "times of their lives."
