| Most of the times, I never read the piece about a page's author. But recently, I've started to do so, because I noticed that after reading a personal page, your view on the webpage made by that person changes. It makes you aware of the person behind the page, and it's always nice to get to know someone a bit, to learn about his or her hobbies and interests and everything. That's why I made this section, so that you can learn that bit about me too. I hope you like it! Or, just skip it if you don't. Okay, let's start with the regular details first. My name is Esther Schaddelee, and I live in the Netherlands, or Holland if you like. I was born on July 19, 1985. I have a younger brother and sister, Mark and Marjon. I go to a Grammar School in a small city across the river. After finishing high school, I'll probably go study Archeology at University. I have a lot of hobbies, but the things I like the most are movies, actors, music, internet, nature, traveling, penpalling and the USA. A recent addition to this is skiing. My favorite music styles are (classic) rock (especially Queen, the English rockband), 80's and classical music. Not all kinds of classical music, I like the parts and suites that have a bit of power in them, like the Planet Suite by Gustav Holst and Pacific 231 by Arthur Honegger. For the rest, I'm a HUGE fan of Star Trek. Any series, old to new, even Deep Space Nine. Ah well, some say that's the boring one. I disagree! I can't get enough of both the series and the movies. Great stuff to pass time with! My other sci-fi 'addiction' is Star Wars. I don't think that movie series needs any introduction! Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jango Fett are my favorite characters. Also, I'm a merchandise collector. I have stuff from Star Wars, Star Trek, The Lord of the Rings and so on. But the best piece of my collection is the taylor-made US flag that someone brought me from the States. I first saw Henry Czerny in Mission Impossible. He was the reason I bought the tape after seeing the movie on tv. I thought; Wow, what a great looking actor! And my, can he act. After that I searched the net for information and I was a bit disappointed at what I found. Because I found about nothing. :( Anyway, I kept checking the tv guide for movies in which he had a part, and the next thing that crossed my path was Clear and Present Danger with Harrison Ford. That was even better than MI! Great part he has in that flick. Being a fan of sci-fi and fantasy movies/books, I have of course read the Lord of the Rings. After that I saw the movie, and I was overwhelmed by its beauty. It's great, and the books are enchanting! I really recommend it to everyone, you'll love it. Robin Hobb and C.S. Lewis are also very gifted authors, give them a try and you'll be amazed. That's right, no picture! There's an simple explanation for that; I just don't have a scanner. And Pagebuilder won't accept .bmp files. Well then, that's just too bad. I hope I kept you busy for a while, boy reading this is such a waste of time.
