1.Set up the instrument midway between and turning point 1 (TP1). |

2.The first reading staff at bench mark (BM1) is a backsight. Turn the telescope to turning point 1 (TP1). The next reading is a foresight. |

3.The instrument is moved to next set up forward position midway between turning point 1 (TP1) and turning point 2 (TP2). |

4.Reading backsight at turning point 1 and foresight turning point 2 (TP2). |

5.This method continues until the survey is tied to final BM 2 (unknow elevation bench mark 2). |

6.After finally foresight is complete. back to close on the starting bench mark1 (BM1) and adjusting error of level loop. |

7.Calculate total distances. The distance should balanced at the survey progresses. |
