The Shichida Method
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
According to Prof. Shichida, it is important to examine both
character formation and learning abilities as a wholesome approach to child
rearing.
It is believed that the right brain influences the quality
of the left-brain. As the right brain works dominantly at age 0-3, it is
crucial to stimulate the five senses regularly during the time. When the right
brain is developed well together with the left brain, the heart will be raised
to a high level of potential. Thus the Shichida Method is aiming at the whole
brain development with emphasis on the right brain development, instead of only
using the right brain to learn.
Right brain development is
crucial in age 0-3, because as the left-brain develops, it becomes harder to
bring forth the abilities of the right brain. If the child's brain is
stuffed with knowledge, it becomes very difficult to exercise and develop the
right brain.
Right brain capabilities that all children possess are:
·
The five senses of the right brain.
·
The ability to see images in the form of motion pictures.
·
Photographic memory
·
The ability to do complex mental calculations.
·
The conversion of images to words, numbers, symbols and the
reverse.
·
The ability to master foreign languages easily.
·
The ability to receive inspiration and use it towards unique
creativity.
·
The ability of photographic speed-reading.
·
The ability to receive information on an intuitive level,
and to use that information accordingly.
These capabilities is gained by the two basic and important
functions of the right brain, the resonance and image visualization. The
resonance faculty is the most fundamental faculty of the right brain. The right
brain resonates with vibration or waves emanating from every object. And it is
the resonance makes the magic out while you initiate early childhood education
for an infant, because a child can wave read a foreign language book he has
never seen before, and changes the vibrations into images.
For the image visualization, practice using the
Seven Right Brain Senses mentioned below could help developing Higher Sensory
Perception,
1. Telepathy
2. Clairvoyance
3. Hand Reading
4. Precogition
5. Hearing
6. Taste
7. Smell
One important thing to note is that the purpose
of early childhood education is not to teach knowledge and skills, but to
cultivate the child's ability to learn on his own, so to raise a well-balanced
child with enormous abilities, rich creativity and the ability to use a huge
proportion of the brain. Most of all, these can only be achieved without stress
and a right parent-child relationship.
However it is not correct to stuff the left brain
with information, it is common that mothers just do so and disregard the HSP.
Parents who were really into “the right brain learning” have to bear in mind
that developing children’s HSP abilities means opening up a new way to a world
beyond logic, a world of inspiration. And the more right brain ability is used
during infanthood, the more superior its development.
