| These photos were taken while I was stationed at Adak Alaska from April 1985 to April 1986. I had these photos for years and I recently came to the conclusion that they didn't belong to me anymore but that they belonged to everyone who had ever been to Adak. Adak was a unique experience for me, being that it was my first time away from home and in a isolated place. The people that I barely new when I arrived became my friends, an over the year that I was there, we had developed a unique bond that only people who had been to Adak would understand.
