The second AFROdisiac happened on August 25, 2000 at an industrial warehouse in Bertrams, Johannesburg. The Exhibition was called 'Exhibit X'. The theme was erotica. The exhibition included eight different visual artists, (working in mediums such as photography, drawings and paintings), and seven different performance pieces. AFROdisiac events are a one night affair. 'Exhibit X' attracted approximately 250 guests. Although there were more visual artists than performance artists, the performances were the main focus, and included rap, dance, bands, spoken word, drumming, and a live underwear model shoot for OUTRIGHT Magazine. There were also controversial T-shirts with a photo of a man's penis for sale (designed by Clifford Charles). 'Sextopia,' an adult erotic shop also got involved with a display of dildos, sexual enhancers and condoms.

A closer look at the T-shirts. The T-shirt were wrapped in foil and displayed on a wooden plank with wheels that moved around the exhibition space

Clifford Charles also created an installation piece. He used
metal constructions and then placed white plastic over them. He wanted to create a quiet space that people could walk into
within the exhibition space.

Inside the installation piece were different lip collages on a blue background.
