Finally saw Bubba Ho-tep last night. It was awesome. God, I love cheap "B" type movies. More often than not, they have more poetry and life-lessons than big budget pictures.

Today was nice. Although I woke up headachey and feverish again, I decided to take the bull by the horns and accomplish something. Here's what I did:
- phoned Telus
- phoned the Cross Cancer Institute about my appointment
- finally got a family doctor
- printed out cover letters for another 22 jobs
- p/u some groceries
- tidied
- did laundry
- made myself a nice supper (mmm - Shake 'n Bake - my specialty)
- made an appointment w/ a career counselling/job findy thingy
- dubbed the Army of Lovers compilation cd
- updated K'vitsh

I didn't work on my Weegee paper, though. Well, I did, actually. I wrote the introduction and have thought about what direction it can take. Better than nothing. Now I want to go to bed early so I can be really useful tomorrow, too.

It's amazing how good it feels to actually take charge of my life. Why can't I always do this? Sometimes it's like I'm paralyzed with laziness. Oh well. Today was good. I'm happy with that.
