| Tuesday, March 16th, 2004. 10 p.m. I'm getting sicker. I finished my Weegee project but went to class and told the prof I couldn't do it because my voice would give out or I'd start coughing spasmodically. I'm not sure if that's a word, but I'm sick so cut me some slack. I'm amazed I got the thing done at all. I, of course, left it until the last minute and felt like death last night. It's funny, even when I'm sick, I get this rush of energy at 11 p.m. or so. I got a lot of work done. I was up 'till 3 a.m., but didn't feel exceptionally tired this morning. Then I came home at about 11.30 a.m., had a bath, and slept until 6 p.m. Since then I've been dicking around avoiding writing my Scarface paper. Todays words of wisdom from Weegee: "Be yourself and stay up late." |

| I was peeling potatioes for Thanksgiving dinner (11/27/2003). On my second stroke this is what I saw. The image is straight from my digital camera and has not been manipulated in any way except for rotating it so you would get the point of view I had when peeling the potato. I set it aside. At that moment I knew my Thanksgiving feast was blessed. (And it was! The turkey was moist, the mashed potatoes and gravy weren't lumpy and the company was delightful and gracious.) - Mars B.
