I was up far too late last night, but it was worth it. The M.L. Shrine is done. I hope to improve it as time goes by, but it feels neat to have published my love poem to him, as it were.

My throat is scratchy. It doesn't really hurt, and I don't appear to be sick in any other way, but my voice is low and husky. Maybe it'll sound mellow and sexy by the time I go to work this evening.

Three people have signed my guestbook so far. Thanks Afton, Pierre and Aasa!

I'm almost at my maximum allowed space on this free website. Damn.

I don't have much to say right now. I'll write more later.

You are ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?  Though you may not have peed your pants, you sure as hell feel like you are going to sometimes.  Are you a pussy?  Yeah, that's what I thought.

Which old school Nickelodeon show are you?

Well, I haven't done anything useful, but I'm really enjoying my day so far. Drinking tea, reading Aasa's blog, listening to music, warming up my scratchy voice by singing. Lovely. Aasa and I went through the Journalism Arts program at SAIT together.

I love reading about people's lives. Blogs in particular can be great. The minutiae of other's lives can be inspiring and moving. Some of Aasa's entries are very poetic.

She mentions her photography and a neat site for the
Lomography Society International. I have an old Kodak Instamatic I need to get film for. My good camera is too big to schlep around all the time, and I desperatly need to be more creative. Taking pictures of my daily life and the weird and beautiful things in it is something I feel a deep need to do. Of course, getting film for this little beastie is no small feat.

I also want fish. Pet fish. I can't have anything cuddly and scampery because of my cursed allergies, so fish it is. Also, pet fish seem nicely geeky to me.

I deleted some clipart crap I was trying to put on the Layorteaux Shrine and it freed up a lot of space. Yay!
