Retirement Home Christmas Visit (December 2000) On December 15, our club visited the retirement home in Kernville, California. During our visit, we decorated the doors of the residents. Also, we sang christmas carols to the residents. Some of them danced and sang along. After the singing, we talked to each resident for a while before leaving. Pictures |

Retirement Home Visit (February 2001) On February 7, our club visited the retirement home in Mountain Mesa, California. During our visit, we created valentine's with the residents. We also passed out valentines that we had made to each resident. Before we left, we visited with each one of the residents. Pictures |

Whiskey Flat Day Parade (February 2001) On February 17, members of our club rode on the float during the Whiskey Flat Days Parade. Those members passed out flyers advertising the Exchange Club's annual rubber duck race, while two people were in duck costumes passing out American flags to children along the route. Members worked on the float the Tuesday and Wedensday prior to the parade. |

Search for Talent (March 2001) On March 3, members from our Excel club helped at the local Search for Talent by selling cookies, soda, popcorn, and coffee during the intermissions of the performances. Also, two of our members participated in the Search for Talent itself. Nick Zurn performed a rock song on drums that he and his friend had written. Also, Alisa Hanawaldt did a dance number with one of her friends. |

Retirement Home Visit (April 2001) On April 6, members from the Excel club visited the retirement home in Mountain Mesa, California. While there, members made Easter cards and decorations with the residents and hung them around their living quarters. Everybody had a lot of fun doing everything. |

Easter Egg Hunt (April 2001) On April 13, members helped out at an Easter egg hunt at the retirement home in Kernville. The hunt was for children ages 6 and under. Excel members helped out by carrying toys for the Easter bunny, along with helping out the photographer. |
