Co-Curricular Activities

The School is divided into four houses: Shivaji, Tagore, Ashoka and Raman to instill competitive spirit in students. Inter house competitions are held in Poetry, Songs, Dances, Debates, Calligraphy, Bhajans/Slokas and Display Boards among others.

Apart from the other competitions the houses perform competitively in the Morning Assembly and Vie with each other for the Assembly shield to be given on the Annual Day. All the important National and International Days are celebrated in the Morning Assembly.

Our students participate in Inter School Competitions from time to time.

Scouts and Guides

Scouts and guides, Cubs and Bulbuls of the vidyalaya keep the spirit of this movement alive through various activities, During Sept. Scouts & Guides testing camp was organised in K.V. No.1 Hindon. In this 15 Scouts, 4 Guides passed Tritiya Sopan. A testing camp is being organised shortly at the vidyalaya level for Pratham Sopan & Dwitiya Sopan tests.

Drawing and Painting

It is human nature to appreciate beauty and arts,"A thing of beauty is joy for ever." says John Keats Our students take keen interest in Drawing and Painting in an Inter-School Drawing Competition organised by Jan Prashikshan Sanathan, Hapur. Our students Anjali of VIII and Akshya of XI std won the First prizes.

Games and Sports

Some of our students brought glory to school in games and sports. It is matter of pride that Sachin of IX and Arjun Tyagi of XII std represented Delhi Region to play at the National Level Sports Meet in discus throw and Volley Ball respectively. Alka of merely V std won gold medal in High Jump in Delhi Region.
