Dates of Admission Test (Class - II onwards):-
3rd & 4th April 2007.
1. Priorities in admission:-
a) Children of the employees of project sector,which finances the Kendriya Vidyalaya fully.
b) Children of transferable Central Government Employees including Ex-servicemen.
c) Children of nontransferable Central Government Employees including ex-servicemen.
d) Children of Transferable and non-transferable employees of Autonomous bodies / Public Sector Undertaking / Institute of Higher Learning of the Government of India.
e) Children of transferable State Government Employees
f) Children of non-transferable State Government Employees
g) Children of Transferable and non-transferable employees of Autonomous bodies / Public Sector Undertaking / Institute of Higher Learning of the State Government.
h) Children from any category.
2. Sale of Forms as well as registration for all classes (except Class XI ) will commence from 6/1/2006. Last date for registration is 21/02/2006.
3. Admission will be given to eligible candidates subject to vacancies, priority categories and other provisions following KVS rules strictly.
4. Admission test on the basis of Annual Exam of preceding classes would be conducted in the following subjects:
a) Primary Classes (Except Class I) � English, Hindi & Maths.
b) Middle Classes - English, Hindi, Maths & General
Knowledge.
c) Secondary Classes - English, Hindi, Maths, Social
Science & Science.
5. A Child must be 05 years old on 30/09/2006 in class I and for subsequent classes the elegible age will be reckoned with respect to 30/09/2006. with proportionate increase over 05 years.
An upper age limit for admission is fixed as the minimum age limit +2 years.
6. Reservations: 15% and 7.5% of the vacancies are reserved for the S.C. and S.T. candidates respectively. 3% seats will be horizontally reserved for handicapped children.
7. Admission for Class XI : Registration for Class � XI (Science, Commerce, Humanities) shall be taken up immediately after the declaration of C.B.S.E. results of class X followed by separate notification.
