Oct 3, 2008: The final release of the ITTO ProTool for public use is now downloadable from this webpage. Several changes were made to make it easier to use. Download it, try it and enjoy!

- Fixed bug in 'Up' button for screens in entering Activities and Inputs.

Sept 30, 2006: More updates done for Council decision:
- Fixed more bugs found in identifying objectives.
- Text for Outputs, Activities and Inputs are now pasted in the generated document.
- Updated examples for Problem Tree, Objectives Tree and all steps that follow throughout the User's Manual.
- Added tips on how to input budget lines that go beyond the 1st budget year.
Sept 18, 2006: Integrated most of Sept 8 comments from Secretariat:
- easier download and installation.
- bugs fixed (e.g. non-disappearing toolbars, not pasting 2 specific objectives and reversal of devt and specific objectives, budget tables not updating, no budget in cover page output)
- labelling the of Problem Tree and Objectives Tree. Can create more flexible trees.
- several committees can now be selected in the cover page.
- produces correct document templates for: project, pre-project & small project.
- ITTO Support Costs % and Budget Components can be edited.
- One spreadsheet is open at a time.
- improved help text and tab labels.
- new warning screens for outputs with 1 activity, or activities with 1 input.
- in workplan, outputs cannot be scheduled anymore, just activities.
- in budget, Year column accepts 'Y1, Y2'. Titles in budget component list are not selectable, and output lines have no more total values.
- workplan and budget data are retained even with editing of outputs, activities and/or inputs.
- the User's Manual is also updated to show new screen shots, new features, and better explanation of software installation.
August 5, 2006: Additional features placed today:
- allows add/delete/edit of Input Items in the Budget module.
- allows easy changing of budget monitoring percentages.
- Manual updates: text and illustrations are updated, added illustrations on closing each module, added illustrations and text on how to track changes.
August 1, 2006: The software now includes the following features:
- compatible with Office 97, 2000, 2002/XP and 2003.
- made into a single software instead of separate modules.
- connect data between Problem Tree and Objectives Tree modules.
- add "Others" source in Budget Tables.
- smaller program size and choice of downloading a smaller installer.
- added a "Cover Page" input form for future use in creating an online db.
- generated document adheres to the "Chiang Mai proposal format".
- installation of Digital Certificate is made easier.
June 25, 2006: Updated the User's Manual to include instructions for setting up software security. This will get rid of the "Enable macros" dialog box during start-up.
June 14, 2006: Updates where done on the downloadable software and an updated version is now in this website. It is still the first Beta Version though since it isn't officially approved by ITTO yet. The updated version now has built-in digital certificate so that the user can opt to select "Always trust this publisher" and need to click "Enable Macros" only once which is when running a ProTool for the first time. Also, the database of the software is improved such that the user can go back and forth in steps on using the ProTools. Another addition is a downloadable zipped file which is around 500KB only for those who have difficulty downloading the installer file (which is around 4MB). The 500KB zipped file has to be manually installed in the user's computer though, but the instructions on how to install it is also provided for download.
